The texture of a handmade ceramic bowl. The way the light stretches across the room at sunset. The patina of my 19th century dining table.

I am drawn to the markings of time - in light, in objects, and in space. The way these things interact is a language I love to explore and document.

I grew up moving frequently, and I believe this helped foster my curiosity and trained my eye to see things from a new perspective. My mother, a talented seamstress, designer, and upholsterer, gave me an appreciation for textiles, antiques, and (most importantly) the process of turning a vision into a finished product.

I studied Studio Art and Arts Management in Charleston, SC, where I was exposed to the craftsmanship and materiality of historical architecture, as well as the natural beauty of my surroundings. I discovered a deeper love for painting and drawing, and ultimately, mixed-media collage. Collage is a way for me to combine different materials, to experiment, and to edit. This practice taught me not to be so precious with an idea that it hinders the final result.

I believe this has informed the way I view styling. Nothing is permanent; there is always an opportunity for a new way of seeing.

Throughout my working life, I have found myself in various industries such as Hospitality, Specialty Coffee, Interiors and currently Retail Buying & Merchandising. I enjoy collaborating with designers and brands within these worlds and am always up for dreaming and scheming!

I currently live on Bainbridge Island, WA with my husband and long-haired miniature dachshund, Sebastian.
